OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Dec. 01 (YPA) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed on Saturday evening, that the conditions are now ripe for reaching a prisoner exchange deal with Hamas.
This statement came during a phone call between Netanyahu and the mother of an Israeli prisoner held by the resistance in Gaza, Edan Alexander.
Netanyahu said, “The conditions are now favorable for a prisoner exchange, especially after the ceasefire in Lebanon.”
Earlier, Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, has released a video of American-Israeli soldier Edan Alexander, held captive for over 420 days. In the footage, he criticized Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu and appealed to US president-elect Donald Trump to act for his release.
