Al-Qassam Brigades target three Israeli Merkava tanks east of Rafah

GAZA, Dec. 01 (YPA) – The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Saturday that they had targeted three Israeli occupation tanks in Nuseirat, east of Rafah.

“A Zionist Merkava tank was targeted with an Al-Yassin 105 shell. Immediately after a number of injured soldiers left the tank, it was targeted again with an RBG shell in the Mufti area north of the Nusseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip,” Al-Qassam Brigades said in a military statement.

In another statement, the Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed they had targeted two Zionist Merkava tanks with two Al-Yassin 105 shells near Al-Khayat Junction in Al-Janina neighborhood east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.

On the other hand, Israeli media admitted that at least one Israeli soldier was killed, and several others were seriously wounded, following an attack on  a “D9” military bulldozer with an anti-tank missile and shelling of an evacuation force with another missile.
