Local protest condemns economic collapse in Abyan

ABYAN, Nov. 30 (YPA) – Thousands of residents of Abyan province, which is under control of Saudi-led coalition, held a protest on Saturday against  the catastrophic collapse of living conditions due to the suspension of salaries for the third consecutive month.

The protesters marched down the main street in the city of Mahfed, holding banners marked with “November 30th” that called for salary payments and better economic conditions. Some of the signs read, “Employees without salaries.”

The demonstrators expressed their frustration with the worsening economic crisis affecting citizens across various provinces, emphasizing that their protests would continue until their legitimate demands are met.
