ADEN, Nov. 26 (YPA) – A gunman from the Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions loyal to the UAE detonated on Tuesday a smoke bomb in the city of Aden, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition in southern Yemen.
Local sources in the city reported that the incident occurred in the middle of Al-Mualla Street, indicating that the explosion caused a state of panic and fear among citizens.
The sources attributed the incident to the gunman’s use of the drug hashish, which is spreading in the city in an unprecedented manner.
The city has been witnessing security chaos since the beginning of 2016.
