Israeli Rabbi found killed in UAE

UFAI, Nov. 24 (YPA) – The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office announced that intelligence and security agencies in the UAE an Israeli-Moldovan rabbi, who worked in UAE for Orthodox Jewish group and went missing in the United Arab Emirates, was killed.

Netanyahu’s office said in a statement that the Israeli embassy in Abu Dhabi had been in contact with the family since the beginning of the incident and continues to accompany them during their difficult times, and his family in the entity has also been informed.

The office added: “The murder of Zvi Kogan is a criminal, anti-Semitic terrorist incident. The occupation would act by all means to bring justice to the criminals responsible for his murder.”

Earlier in the day, “the car of Zvi Kogan was found empty, and it is suspected that he had been killed by an unknown group.”
Kogan served in the Israeli army as a fighter in the Givati Brigade, and is an assistant to Levi Duchman, the chief rabbi of the Jewish community.
