Southern Movement threatens with “hungry” uprising in Aden

ADEN, Nov. 20 (YPA) – A senior politician in the “Southern Movement” affirmed that the city of Aden, south of Yemen, is facing a massive uprising by the hungry that will uproot the coalition-affiliated Aden government.

Abdulrahman Al-Wali, the politician and academic at the University of Aden, said in a post on the “X” platform that the government “is rejoicing at the state of misery and famine that is ravaging the people of Aden and the southern province.

He pointed out that the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council is unable to do anything about the bad situation, stressing that “the uprising of the hungry to come.
