UAE exposes perpetrators of terrorist operations in Abyan

ABYAN, Nov. 17 (YPA) – The UAE has made explicit accusations against Saudi Arabia of being behind the terrorist operations targeting the Southern Transitional Council factions loyal to it in Abyan province, southern Yemen.

Khaled Al-Shamiri, head of the Center for Political Studies, based in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, said, “The Al-Qaeda series is being repeated with the same poor plot as a proxy pressure tool driven by the interests of the Transitional Council’s partners at every political turn,” referring to Saudi Arabia through the Islah Party.

He pointed out in a post on “X” that “Saudi Arabia” is betting on the tools of terrorism as a negotiating card with the Transitional Council, indicating that the southern regions, with their tragedies and misfortunes, remain “the arena where the bills of major conflicts are paid.”
