GAZA, Nov. 15 (YPA) – At least seven civilians were killed and others were injured on Friday in an Israeli bombing targeting a tent for displaced people in the al-Mawasi area west of the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian sources, seven civilians were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli shelling that targeted a tent sheltering displaced people near the Osman Bin Affan Mosque south of al-Mawasi area.
The sources added that an enemy helicopter launched a missile at a tent located in a densely populated refugee camp, resulting in a large number of martyrs and injuries, including children and women.
Among the martyrs were five members of a single family, a mother and her children.
The sources indicated that medical teams and civil defense personnel transported the bodies of the martyrs and the wounded to hospitals in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian medical sources also reported today that the number of casualties from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7th of last year has risen to 43,764 martyrs and 103,490 injured.
