WOFRD condemns coalition crime in Saada
SANAA, July 20 (YPA) – Women organization for Rights and Development on Friday condemned the crime of Thursday coalition warplane which targeted a family in Aal-Saifi district of Saada province which killed and wounded 13 civilians.
In a statement, the organization said this terrible crime is a war crime which contravened the international humanitarian law and human rights law.
The organization considered the crime as as extension of the series of repeated crimes committed by the coalition against women and children which amount to war crimes.
The statement called on the international community and international and humanitarian organizations, especially the United Nations, the European Union and the Human Rights Council, to pressure the American regime not to sell internationally banned weapons to Saudi Arabia, as well as to pressure the countries of the coalition to stop the aggression and lift the siege that threatens the greatest human catastrophe in contemporary history.
The organization also called for the formation of impartial commissions to investigate the crimes of aggression against the Yemeni people for more than three years.
