Israeli occupation army continues its aggression on Lebanon for 52nd day

BEIRUT, Nov. 13 (YPA) -The Israeli occupation army has intensified its aggression on Lebanon for the 52nd consecutive day, targeting residential buildings and civilians, causing dozens of casualties and injuries, in addition to widespread destruction to property through a series of airstrikes and continuous artillery shelling on various regions.

Early on Wednesday, the Israeli occupation targeted, without warning, a residential building in the town of Aramoun, in the Aley district of Mount Lebanon, with a drone attack, resulting in injuries.

After midnight, the Israeli occupation aircraft launched nine airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, targeting residential buildings in the neighborhoods of Harat Hreik and Lailaki, a health center in Bir al-Abed, Janmous, Haret Hreik, and Ghobeiry village.

On Tuesday evening, the occupation warplanes carried out an airstrike targeting a house where displaced families were residing in the town of Joun in the Chouf region.

The updated toll from the Israeli airstrike on Joun stands at 15 martyrs, including 8 women and four children, and 12 injured, while debris removal operations are ongoing, the Lebanese Health Ministry reported.

During the night, “Israel” resumed its aggression, targeting a two-story home where displaced civilians resided in Baalchmay, Mount Lebanon. Eight people were killed and two were injured in a non-finalized toll.

The Ministry of Health also reported that two citizens were killed and several were wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the city of Tyre, amid efforts from the Lebanese Civil Defense to transport all casualties to hospitals.

In the Beqaa Valley, Eastern Lebanon, the Ministry of Health confirmed that an Israeli airstrike on the Ma’ali area in Hermel led to one martyr and eight other injuries.

The death toll of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 3,320 martyrs and over 14,234 injuries following recent deadly strikes that hit the country, according to the latest statistics from the Lebanese Ministry of Health released on Tuesday.
