GAZA, Nov. 11 (YPA) – Five Israeli soldiers and officers were killed on Monday in two separate attacks in the northern Gaza Strip, according to Hebrew media outlets.
The Israeli occupation’s spokesman affirmed in a statement that Major “Atimar Friedman, commander of the “Commando” group, were killed in the battles in the northern Strip.
According to the statement, 4 other soldiers were killed after being hit by an RPG shell in northern Gaza, while a fifth was seriously injured.
The occupation forces radio had indicated that 87 Israelis, including 64 officers, soldiers, and security personnel, and 23 settlers, were killed, during the past month of October, by anti-missiles, rocket barrages, or clashes, confrontations, and field operations on various fronts.
