SANAA, Nov. 11 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mahdi Al-Mashat, called on the Arab-Islamic summit currently being held in Riyadh to move from the state of speeches to practical positions.
Al-Mashat pointed out in a message to the Arab-Islamic Summit on Monday that this summit is being held at this sensitive time that the nation is going through.
He stressed that Yemen and its great people stand by the oppressed Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, supporting them with everything they can, based on a religious, moral, humanitarian and fraternal stance towards the Zionist arrogance that has reached its criminal and brutal limits.
“The Yemeni people, who have set out to support the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza with all forms of support, express its firm and steadfast position towards the Palestinian cause and their complete belief that confrontation with the Zionist entity is inevitable and without a doubt,” President Al-Mashat said. “Any failure in this pivotal issue only extends the life of the usurping entity to represent a strategic threat to all countries of the region, especially the Zionist ambitions are declared and clear in their desire for geographical expansion and imposing hegemony and influence to become the policeman and leader of the region.”
Al-Mashat hoped that the Arab-Islamic summit would move to impose an economic blockade on the Zionist entity and a comprehensive boycott, supporting the choice of the Palestinian people to resist, and opening the ground crossings with neighboring Arab countries, in addition to a lot of Arab and Islamic countries that can do in terms of practical positions to force the Zionist entity to immediately stop continuing its brutality and criminality in Gaza and Lebanon.
He added, “He added, “We in the Republic of Yemen have set out to support the Palestinian people as much as we can, out of our sense of religious, humanitarian and moral responsibility, in addition to out of our awareness of the sensitivity of the stage and its impact on the reality of the nation if it continues to be negligent and ignore these brutal crimes or wait for solutions from those who are the main supporters of the Zionist entity.”
