Famous player killed by STC factions in Abyan

ABYAN, Nov. 03 (YPA) – A famous player in the “New Dawn” club was killed, on Sunday, by bullets of a recruit in the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council in Khanfar district of Abyan province, southern Yemen.

Informed sources in the directorate reported that the former player in the club, “Ahmed Al-Yasi, 26 years old”, was shot by one of the Transitional Council factions in Al-Koud area.

The sources explained that the recruit, whose name was coded as “S. Sh.”, 28 years old, raised his weapon at Al-Yasi, threatening him then suddenly he shot him at head, causing him to fall covered in blood, without mentioning the reason.

Al-Yasi’s head was scattered in front of a number of people, and the soldier threw his weapon and fell down crying, according to what the sources reported.

Abyan and the rest of the southern governorates are witnessing unprecedented security chaos with the spread of UAE and Saudi factions amidst the spread of hashish and drug among the members of those factions.
