Southern journalist criticizes pro-coalition government, describing it as “occupation rule”

HADRAMOUT, Nov. 02 (YPA) – The writer and journalist, Taha Bafadhl, has confirmed that the foreign currency had its effect on politicians and activists, and through it, the national decision and the homeland were sold.

Bafadhl said, “The salary in foreign currency did its job to the activists and politicians, and it was like selling the national decision to whoever pays. The homeland was sold to Saudi Arabia or the UAE.”

He added, “What is there in Yemen, south and north, which has not been sold? The results of the foreign salary began: chaos of rule; everyone rules in his own way to please the sponsor. The thieves became arrogant, multiplied, and plundered.”

Bafadhl pointed out that getting rid of the decision of those leaders loyal to the Saudi-led coalition is difficult, indicating that “those areas are under occupation.”

He addressed those leaders: “You are an occupation rule; you have no sovereignty, no ability, and no will to manage an independent state that makes its own decisions without foreign tutelage.”

Bafadhl concluded his words, “Most of your officials are peddled thieves. Education has collapsed, and values are changing and shaking.”
