Al-Bukhaiti accuses Saudi Arabia of buying UN team’s conscience
SANAA, Nov. 02 (YPA) – Member of the Ansarullah Political Bureau, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, commented on the UAE team’s report to close Yemeni accounts on the social media websites.
Al-Bukhaiti said in a post on X that “The report of the team of experts is a condemnation of the United Nations and a stain on its history.”
He accused Saudi Arabia of buying the conscience of the UN team.
“We are surprised that the team allowed the Saudi ambassador, Mohammed Al Jaber, to draft the report without revision,” he added.
Al-Bukhaiti stated that “the charters and laws on which the United Nations have been founded are generally good, and the problem is that they are not implemented.”
“Most of the workers in the United Nations are good people, and the problem lies in the interventions that take place behind the scenes to choose an envoy here or a work team there,” Al-Bukhaiti continued, “Therefore, our position towards the team of experts should not be reflected on the United Nations in general.”
