Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression in northern Gaza for 27th day

GAZA, Oct. 31 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression and acts of extermination in northern Gaza for the twenty-seventh consecutive day, through intensive ground and aerial bombardments and a tight siege that prevents the entry of food, water, and medicine, forcing citizens to flee southward.

More than 100,000 people who remain in their homes or in buildings they have fled to in northern Gaza are suffering from dire conditions due to the heavy bombardments and fire from the occupation military vehicles and drones.

During the 27 days of aggression, nearly 1,000 people have been killed and hundreds injured, while many have been detained. Entire residential neighborhoods have been destroyed, displacing thousands of citizens to the south.

The occupation forces continue to prevent medical teams from reaching the injured in northern Gaza to provide assistance, as health services, civil defense, and emergency services have come to a halt.

This morning, occupation forces advanced toward the Tal al-Zaatar and Tal al-Rabi schools in Beit Lahia, warning the displaced individuals in those schools to evacuate via drones.

Additionally, the occupation forces detonated residential buildings in the Jabalia camp, and fires broke out in homes around Sheikh Zayed Roundabout and the Beit Lahia project due to intensive artillery shelling since dawn.

As part of their targeting of the health sector, occupation vehicles directly fired at the Indonesian hospital and the surrounding area north of the Jabalia camp.

The occupation forces continued to besiege the three operational hospitals in northern Gaza: Kamal Adwan, Indonesian, and Al-Awda, rendering them completely out of service.

They also targeted ambulances and civil defense vehicles, which have become completely unable to provide services.

According to the latest statistics, the death toll in Gaza has risen to 43,163, the majority of whom are children and women, since the onset of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.

The number of injuries has also reached 101,510, while thousands of victims remain under the rubble.
