Hezbollah destroys two Israeli Merkava tanks, kills crew

BEIRUT, Oct. 18 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Hezbollah targeted two Merkava tanks of the Israeli occupation on the Lebanese and Palestinians borders, killing and wounding their crew.

In a statement, Hezbollah said that the operation was carried out in Jal al-Deir near the Avivim settlement with guided missiles, which led to also their burning completely.

The statement affirmed that a gathering of Zionist enemy forces in Wadi Qatmun in the vicinity of Rmeish was targeted with a missile salvo.

Hezbollah’s statement said that the operations came in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people.
