About 38 human rights organizations call to act to end Israeli atrocities in Gaza

GAZA, Oct. 16 (YPA) – About 38 human rights and charitable organizations called on the world’s leaders to act now to end the atrocities that the Israeli occupation’s committing in the northern Gaza Strip.

The organizations said in a joint statement that the intensity of the attack launched by the occupation forces on Gaza has escalated to a horrific level of atrocities.

“The northern Gaza has been wiped off the map,” the statement added.

“What is happening there is forced displacement under gunfire,” the statement warned.” “Since October 1, no food has been allowed into the area, and civilians are being starved and bombed in their homes and tents.”

The organizations’ statement said that “the world cannot continue to stand idly by while the Israeli occupation’s government commits these atrocities.” World leaders are legally and morally obligated to act now.”

The statement called on all parties to allow humanitarian organizations unhindered access to deliver aid on the basis of need.

In the joint statement, the organizations demanded an immediate ceasefire and an end to the illegal Israeli occupation.
