New depression approaches Mahra coasts

MAHRA, Oct. 16 (YPA) – Satellite images revealed on Wednesday the flow of thunderstorms in Mahra province as the new depression system approaches the province’s coasts.

These thunderstorms are expected to move west towards the province, where the impacts of the low pressure system would begin at midnight until Thursday, with expectations of very heavy rains falling on large areas of the province.

The images indicate the flow of thunderstorms over the coastal areas of the Sultanate of Oman, amid warnings to citizens in Mahra to avoid potential risks.
