ADEN, Oct. 12 (YPA) – A huge fire broke out on Friday inside a residential building in the center of the coalition-controlled city of Aden in southern Yemen.
Eyewitnesses reported that the fire engulfed two apartments on the fourth floor of the Al-Baasi residential building in the old Crater area, without any casualties.
They confirmed that citizens stood helpless in front of the flames that headed towards the third floor, noting that a special “sewage” truck was used to extinguish the fire, which the residents considered an unprecedented scandal due to the collapse and deterioration of various services that Aden has reached.
The sources explained that the civil defense vehicles arrived late from Aden airport after the fire engulfed the two apartments on the fourth floor and parts of the third floor.
