Palestinian resistance salutes Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq on 1st anniversary of “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle

GAZA, Oct. 07 (YPA) – The Palestinian resistance factions on Sunday saluted all the support fronts in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, appreciating the position adopted by Hezbollah on October 8, 2023, in supporting the Palestinian resistance despite the aggression on Lebanon.

The Palestinian resistance factions said in a press statement, “The Al-Aqsa Flood Battle on the glorious October 7 thwarted the enemy’s plans, restored the conflict to its reality, and ended the expansion of the Zionist-American-Western project in our region and our Arab and Islamic nation.”

The statement added that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle came at a time when “the enemy is rampaging against al-Quds (Jerusalem) and Al-Aqsa Mosque with Judaization and religious control of time and space by imposing new facts on our capital and our Islamic and Christian sanctities.”

The factions stressed that the resistance is a strategic choice and legitimate right to confront the occupation until the liberation of the land and the establishment of the Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.

They stressed that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle returned the Palestinian cause to the top of the world’s priorities and came within the context of the natural and legitimate response to confront the Zionist occupation.

The resistance factions held the US administration and the Zionist enemy responsible for the crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.

The factions’ statement called on the Arab and Islamic peoples and the free people of the world to “take immediate and urgent action to stop the aggression and end the war of genocide, and to hold the Israeli occupation and its supporters accountable and prosecute them for their crimes.”

The resistance factions stressed their firm position that “there will be no agreement or deal unless our people’s demands for a comprehensive cessation of aggression, a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, opening the crossings, lifting the siege, reconstruction, and achieving a serious prisoner exchange deal.”

“The day after the war is a purely Palestinian day for the Palestinian people, who are the only ones who have the right to self-determination,” the factions added.
