“Abyan Forum” calls on “Aidarous Al-Zubaidi” to apologize for Abyan people

ABYAN, Oct. 07 (YPA) – The head of the “Abyan General Forum,” Ahmed Ali Al-Qafish, demanded that member of the “Presidential Leadership Council” and President of the UAE-backed “Southern Transitional Council,” Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, officially apologize to the Abyan province and its people after accusing them of terrorism.

In a post on Facebook, Al-Qafish condemned the accusation of Abyan people of terrorism and the regional incitement by Aidarous Al-Zubaidi in a speech he gave to a number of people from the southern provinces in America.

Al-Qafish called for revealing the fate of the disappeared detainees, topped by Lieutenant Colonel Ali Abdullah Ashal Al-Jaadani, who was kidnapped by terrorist cells affiliated with the Transitional Council in Aden, and bringing the kidnappers to public trials.

He stressed that “Abyan is not a terrorist city nor an incubator for terrorism,” accusing the Transitional Council of working to demonize Abyan and plant terrorism in it to strike and humiliate it under this pretext.
