SANAA, Sept. (YPA) – Thousands of protesters in Australia have called for an “immediate” ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, in protests that witnessed the highest turnout in recent months after Israeli military strikes on Lebanon.
The marches were organized as part of the “National Day of Work for Gaza,” with demonstrators waving Lebanese and Palestinian flags and chanting in support of the Palestinian territories.
Criticisms have emerged about the appearance of Hezbollah flags in the protests, as an affirmation of their solidarity with Lebanon, which is currently being subjected to a major Zionist invasion.
