Israeli missile attack targets vicinity of Damascus, Syrian air defenses respond

DAMASCUS, Sept. 29 (YPA) – Strong explosions occurred in the vicinity of the Syrian capital as a result of the launch of Israeli missiles towards the Damascus countryside, Syrian and Israeli media reported on Sunday.

The official Syrian news agency, SANA, indicated that the Syrian air defenses responded to Israeli attacks in the Damascus countryside but did not provide details about the attacks.
