ABYAN, Sept. 25 (YPA) – A foreign citizen was killed on Wednesday and two others injured in Abyan governorate, in southern Yemen, which is under the control of the Transitional Council factions funded by the UAE.
Human rights sources reported that one of the Ethiopian migrants was killed and two others of the same nationality were injured in a verbal altercation between them and other migrants in the Tamhan camp in the coastal Khanfar district.
The sources attributed the murder to a verbal altercation between the immigrants that developed into a fight with hands and stones on the background of previous problems between them.
The camp’s managers deposited the body of the murdered man in the hospital’s morgue and transferred the injured to receive treatment without knowing the motives for the incident or the crime tools, the sources added.
This comes due to continuation of the security chaos in Abyan and the rest of the southern governorates which witness the absence of state authorities since the beginning of 2016.
