Sanaa strongly condemns Zionist aggression on Lebanon

SANAA, Sept. 23 (YPA) – Spokesman for Sanaa government and Minister of Information, Hashem Sharaf al-Din, strongly condemned on Monday the brutal aggression of the Israeli occupation on Lebanon, which led to killing 182 civilians and wounding 727 others.

Sharaf al-Din stressed that this heinous attack is a flagrant violation of international law and humanitarian principles, a blatant assault on Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, in addition to practice of violence and terrorism against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, with clear American and British support.

He expressed Yemen’s solidarity with the Lebanese people and government at this difficult time, calling on governments, movements, parties and individuals to take appropriate measures to stop this aggression and hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its brutal crimes.

Minister of Information called for the United Nations and its relevant agencies to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to the victims of this aggression, affirming its steadfast support for the right of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples to defend themselves.

“Yemen will not hesitate to carry out its duty in supporting the oppressed in the face of Zionist-American terrorism and all forms of occupation, aggression and oppression,” he added.
