CAIRO, Sept. 23 (YPA) – Yemenis residing in Egypt have complained about the Egyptian authorities’ increase in residency fees, expressing their frustration at the neglect from the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, regarding their situation.
They pointed out that the yearly residency fee has gone up from $40 to $150 per person, amounting to approximately 7,095 Egyptian pounds, marking a rise of over threefold from the prior fee.
They criticized the pro-coalition government for ignoring their plight and not communicating with the Egyptian authorities to cancel these fees.
