Israeli occupation forces storm, close Al-Jazeera office in Ramallah

RAMALLAH, Sept. 22 (YPA) –  Israeli occupation forces stormed on Sunday the Al-Jazeera channel office in the city of Ramallah and ordered it to close for 45 days according to a military order.

to Al-Jazeera’s correspondent, the occupation forces surrounded the building that houses Al-Jazeera’s office in Ramallah and stormed it after blowing up the building’s iron door.

Scenes broadcast by Al-Jazeera showed heavily armed occupation soldiers storming the channel office and handing over a military order to the office director, Walid Al-Omari, to close the office for 45 days.

The occupation forces confiscated all the photography and broadcast equipment and documents in the Al-Jazeera channel office after storming and closing it and brought trucks to transport the confiscated equipment and documents from the office.
