Complex operation by Al-Qassam Brigades targets Israeli military equipment east of Rafah

GAZA, Sept. 16 (YPA) – The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Sunday, that they carried out a complex operation east of Rafah, resulting in multiple Israeli soldiers being killed or injured.

“In a complex operation in the Al-Jneina neighborhood near the Abed Al-Rahman Mosque, east of Rafah city, Al-Qassam fighters targeted a D9 military bulldozer with an Al-Yassin 105 shell,” the brigades said in a military statement.

“As a rescue force advanced to the location, an armored personnel carrier with several soldiers nearby was targeted with another Al-Yassin 105 shell, resulting in all of them being either killed or wounded,” the statement read.

The Al-Qassam Brigades and other resistance factions have been confronting Israeli forces for over 11 months since the beginning of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
