Tribal clashes erupted in Shabwa, killing five

SHABWA, Sept. 14 (YPA) – Five people were killed and three others injured in tribal clashes on Saturday in the Upper Markha district of Shabwa province, amid the silence of the local authority loyal to the UAE and its failure to move to stop the fighting.

Tribal sources said that bloody clashes between Al-Muhaqin and Al-Qurai resulted in the death and injury of eight people, as a result of a dispute over a piece of land in Al-Qwaibil area.

The sources confirmed that the coalition-backed factions working to fuel tribal conflicts in the province with the goal of weakening it, in order to pass their agendas easily.
