Canada suspends 30 licenses to sell weapons to Zionist occupation

OTTAWA, Sept. 11 (YPA) – Canada announced the suspension of 30 licenses to sell weapons to the Zionist occupation entity, which has been committing genocide crimes in the Gaza Strip since last October 7, 2023.

Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie evaluated the military support provided to the occupation, which committed massacres against more than 40,000 Palestinians in Gaza.

“Jolie” reported that they suspended 30 permits to sell weapons to the occupation regime and canceled the contract with an American company to sell Canadian-made ammunition to the occupation army.

She pointed out that selling Canadian weapons to the Israeli occupation through an intermediary country is a matter of dispute and explained that such commercial transactions carried out by the American company General Dynamics are strictly prohibited.

“We will not send any weapons or weapons equipment to Gaza,” Jolie said.
