33 protesters arrested in Australia after rally against arms sales to Zionist entity

CANBERRA, Sept. 11 (YPA) – The Australian police has arrested 33 protesters during a protest organized by activists in Melbourne city against arms sales to the Zionist entity.

The Australian News 9 network said on Wednesday that tens of thousands of anti-war protesters organized the largest protest in recent years around the site of the Defense Industries Exhibition held in Melbourne.

Angrily, the protesters marched in the streets surrounding the exhibition, demanding that Australia stop arms sales to Israeli occupation that goes on its attacks on the Gaza Strip.

The American-supported Zionist entity has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, leaving about 136,000 Palestinian killed and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.
