GAZA, Sept. 08 (YPA) – The number of martyrs of civil defense crews in the Gaza Strip has risen to 83 martyrs since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, after the announcement of the martyrdom of the Deputy Director of Civil Defense in northern Gaza, on Sunday.
The spokesman for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip, Mahmoud Basal, announced on Sunday, during media statements, that 83 members of their crews had been martyred since the start of the aggression on the Strip.
Basal pointed out that there is a great scarcity of foodstuffs and basic needs in the Strip, noting that the occupation is focusing its targeting on the southern Gaza Strip, which it claims are “safe areas.”
Previously, medical sources announced the martyrdom of the Deputy Director of Civil Defense in northern Gaza, Colonel Muhammad Morsi, and members of his family, in an Israeli bombing of his house in Al-Alami area of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip mourned the death of the Deputy Director of Civil Defense in the North province, Colonel Muhammad Abdel-Hay Morsi.
