Hamas warns of danger of fierce attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 04 (YPA) – The Head of the Al-Quds Affairs Office in the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,” Haroun Nasser al-Din, said on Wednesday that the escalation of Zionist settlers’ incursions into the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque constitutes an ignition to various arenas.

In a statement issued today, Nasser al-Din warned of the danger of the fierce attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing that the Israeli occupation’s persistence would increase the anger and resistance of the Palestinian people. He added that these attacks will be met with more confrontation.

Nasser said, “The provocative Talmudic rituals in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the ongoing violations against it… represent an ignition of the square in the city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and even in various squares.”

He called on the Palestinian people in Al-Quds and the occupied interior to intensify solidarity and mobilization for prayer and presence in Al-Aqsa squares.
