Armed clashes break out inside Jenin camp

AL QUDS, Sep. 01 (YPA) – Armed clashes, accompanied with explosions, broke out on Sunday inside the Jenin camp in the northern West Bank.

Local sources affirmed that the Israeli military helicopters flew intensively over the camp.

The sources said that the occupation forces have continued to besiege Jenin Governmental Hospital and prevented medical crews from reaching it.

The occupation also obstructed the work of rescue and infrastructure repair teams and prevented them from entering the camp.

Jenin camp has been witnessed clashes between Palestinian resistance fighters and occupation forces for the fifth day.

On Saturday, an Israeli soldier was killed and others were injured in an ambush in the camp.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades-Jenin said that its fighters engaged in fierce clashes with the Israeli occupation forces that have penetrated the Jenin camp with guns and explosive devices.
