AL QUDS, Aug. 26 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation’s extremist Zionist Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, announced on Monday establishing a Jewish synagogue inside Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied territories.
Ben Gvir claimed – according to what was reported by the occupation’s radio – that the law equalizes the rights of Muslims and Jews to perform prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
About two weeks ago, he, along with another member of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government and about 3,000 settlers, stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Ben Gvir’s statement was met with some Israeli opposition in the occupation government, but not out of rejection, as the Israeli Minister of Education approved the idea but said that any change in the status quo in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound must be done “professionally” with a study of all the meanings and consequences.
