DHAMAR, Aug. 25 (YPA) – About four people have been killed 5 others wounded due to heavy rains that have swept several districts of Dhamar province since July until August 21, causing the collapse of 183 houses.
Deputy of Dhamar province and head of the emergency committee, Ahmed Ali Al-Dhorani, said in a statement the heavy rains caused blocking 117 road on main and secondary roads and sweeping away areas of banana and mango farms, in addition to landslides.
He explained that 12 houses were completely collapsed and 171 others were partially damage as a result of the heavy rains that swept the districts of Jahran, Utmah, Al-Hada, Maghrib Ans, Wusab Al-Ali and Al-Safil, Maifa’at Ans, Dhauran, Al-Manar, Al Manar, and Jabal Al-Sharq.
