Egypt’s ports turn into major supply ports for Israeli occupation entity

SANAA, Aug. 23 (YPA) – Egypt’s sea ports have become major stations for many cargo and cement ships, whose mission was mainly limited to periodically transporting cargo to and from the Israeli occupation during the period of the war on the Gaza Strip.

Over the past several months, the activity of 19 ships was monitored, and the maritime path of these ships was tracked through special marine data, which was limited to movement back and forth between Israeli ports and Egyptian ports.

These 19 ships are not the only ones sailing back and forth between Egyptian and Israeli ports; there are dozens of other ships that transport goods between the two sides, but their activity was not mainly limited to movement between Egypt and the Israeli occupation.

During the same period, no ships from Arab countries arrived at Israeli ports except from Egypt, and there are other trips scheduled to sail regularly between the ports of both sides in the coming days.

Egyptian ports are vital points for transporting goods to and from the Israeli occupation due to their proximity to Israeli ports, especially the port of Ashdod, which is about 29 kilometers away from Gaza, in addition to the strategic port of Haifa. The proximity of the ports to each other reduces the cost of shipping, which in turn is reflected in the prices of goods shipped by ships.
