Trump: US ammunition supplies are depleted right now

WORLD, Aug. 22 (YPA) – Former US President Donald Trump stated that US ammunition stockpiles are now “empty” due to substantial aid provided to Ukraine.

In a speech on Wednesday in North Carolina, Trump said, “We have given all our ammunition to Ukraine and other countries. Our stockpiles are now depleted.”

Republican Congressman Mike Waltz, a member of Trump’s campaign and of both the Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committees, had earlier noted that if Trump wins the election, he would demand that European allies bear a larger share of the burden in supporting Ukraine.

The US has been a major supporter of Ukraine since Russia’s military operation began in February 2022, committing over $174 billion in military and economic aid.
