GAZA, Aug. 18 (YPA) – At least 1,760 Palestinian bodies have been evaporated as a result of the use of internationally prohibited weapons by the Israeli occupation against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
Mahmoud Bassal, spokesperson for the Gaza-based Civil Defense, said in a news statement on Sunday that no trace of these bodies was found, and that they were not registered in the victim records at the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
“Its crews were able to monitor the forced disappearance of 8,240 bodies whose fate have been unknown since the outbreak of the war in Gaza until now,” according to the statement.
The statement announced also the disappearance of 2,210 bodies from various graves in the Gaza Strip and from areas being targeted by the Israeli occupation forces.
It pointed out that 82 of the Civil Defense workers have been martyred and 270 others injured, in addition to several their headquarters have been completely destroyed and some partially damaged, and they lost 11 rescue vehicles and 8 ambulances since the beginning of the war.
