BEIRUT, Aug. 17 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Hezbollah has continued its military operations against the Israeli occupation sites and settlements, targeting for a single time the settlement of Ayelet HaShahar.
Hezbollah said in a statement that the settlement was targeted with volleys of Katyusha rockets, which led to the outbreak of fire in it.
The statement stressed that the operation came in response to the Israeli occupation’s attacks on the steadfast southern villages and safe homes, especially in the town of Wadi al-Kafour in southern Lebanon, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of Syrian civilians.
Earlier, the occupation army announced that two soldiers were injured in the north, noting that one of them was seriously injured, affirming that the military censorship in the occupation army prevented the publication of any details about the accident in the north.
In the same context, Israeli media outlets reported that more than 10 fires broke out in the so-called settlements of Mishmar HaYarden, Ayelet HaShahar, and Mahanaim,” as a result of the Hezbollah’s rocket salvos.
