Palestinian resistance carries out 35 operations in West Bank

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Aug. 15 (YPA) – Over the past 24 hours, Palestinian resistance in the West Bank has carried out 35 resistance operations against targeting Israeli occupation forces and settlers, resulting in injuries to several Israeli soldiers.

The Palestine Information Center “Ma’ata” stated in a press release on Thursday, that resistance operations in the West Bank have continued over the past 24 hours as part of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle.

The center reported five shooting incidents and armed clashes, in addition to the detonation of 17 explosive devices, damaging a military vehicle, 10 confrontations, and two demonstrations.

Armed clashes erupted in the city of Tubas, the town of Tammun, Wadi Taysir, Siris Street, and Al-Thaghra, during which 15 explosive devices were detonated, leading to the injury of five Israeli soldiers and damaging a military vehicle.

Popular demonstrations took place in Anata, Wadi Al-Joz, and the Shufat refugee camp in Jerusalem, accompanied by confrontations with the occupation forces.

Moreover, the resistance fighters detonated explosive devices against occupation forces and threw stones at their military vehicles during confrontations in the town of Deir Al-Ghusun, north of Tulkarem.

Furthermore, they fired at occupation forces during their incursion into Qalqilya, and the city witnessed confrontations.

Additionally, the resistance fighters targeted the “Beit Furik” military checkpoint east of Nablus with gunfire before withdrawing safely from the area. Confrontations also broke out in the town of Haris and the town of Al-Khader near Bethlehem.
