Palestinian young man killed by Israeli occupation forces in Tubas

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Aug. 14 (YPA) – A  Palestinian young man was killed on Wednesday morning after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the city of Tubas.

Palestinian sources confirmed the killing of Fayez Fawaz Abu Amer, as the occupation soldiers had detained him after besieging his house and injuring him.

Israeli occupation forces stormed at dawn on Wednesday the city of Tubas and the town of Tamoun in the northern West Bank.

Local sources said that the occupation troops stormed Tubas from its eastern entrance, while confrontations erupted in the city.

The sources added that the occupation forces surrounded a house in the city and demanded that those inside leave it, and raided several other houses.

Successive explosions were heard in Tubas, near the besieged house, while the occupation forces reportedly shelled the house with Energa shells.

With the killing of Abu Amer, the death toll in the West Bank has risen to 626 since October 7, 2023, including 146 children and 9 women.
