Israeli occupation forces blow up two Palestinian apartments in Ramallah

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Aug. 13 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces Tuesday morning blew up two apartments owned by Palestinian detainees in the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh.

Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces stormed Al-Tira neighborhood in the city of Ramallah and raided a residential building that includes an apartment owned by detainee Ayser Barghouthi.

They also raided Umm Al-Sharait neighborhood in Al-Bireh and raided a residential building that includes an apartment belonging to Khaled Al-Kharouf, before blowing up the two apartments.

Confrontations erupted in Al-Tira and Umm Al-Sharait neighborhoods, during which the occupation soldiers fired bullets and tear gas bombs, which led to the killing of  Sarsour, the injury of three others and a young man who was run over by a military vehicle.

The occupation forces had detained Al-Barghouthi and Al-Kharouf on January 8 under the pretext that they carried out a shooting attack east of Ramallah.
