Hebrew media: Israel is highly concerned about Sinwar’s appointment as Haniyeh’s successor

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Aug. 08 (YPA) –  The Zionist entity is living in a state of fear as it awaits of a response from Iran and Hezbollah following the assassinations of the martyrs Ismail Haniyeh and Fouad Shukr, the “Israeli Eye” TV program reported.

The program highlighted the appointment of Yahya Sinwar as the new head of Hamas, succeeding the martyr Ismail Haniyeh. This appointment shocked all Israelis as it represented a challenge to the occupation, according to one analyst in the Hebrew media who said, “Hamas is producing dynamic leadership in Gaza and enhancing its hold on power.

Regarding the impact of Sinwar’s appointment on the occupation, Dr. Ali Matar, an expert in international relations, emphasized that appointing Sinwar is considered a “masterstroke in extra time.”

He described it as a very significant move, noting that it came by consensus rather than by election.

The program also highlighted Hezbollah’s successful drone attack on an Israeli military site in north of the occupied city of Acre.

This attack caused a state of panic, leading to a complete paralysis of the occupied city, as noted by analysts in the Hebrew media.

The program reviewed comments from Israeli activists who discussed on social media the success of Hezbollah in sending drones that struck sequentially in northern occupied Palestine.
