Nasrallah: “Israel” loses its deterrence, inability to protect itself’

BEIRUT, Aug. 06 (YPA) – Hezbollah Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, stressed that the US defense of “Israel occupation is an indication that the entity has lost the item of strength and prestige.

This came during a speech he made on Tuesday to commemorate the martyred commander Fuad Shokr one week after his martyrdom.

“Israel, which is afraid of the Iranian response or Hezbollah’s response, is calling for help from the Americans and Western countries,” Sayyed Nasrallah said, “This is evidence of the decline of Israeli deterrence and its inability to defend itself.”

He described America’s defense of the Israeli enemy as hypocrisy, adding the enemy may resort to breaking the sound barrier with its planes during the current memorial ceremony for Hezbollah’s military commander, Fouad Shukr, in order to terrorize the attendees.

“Netanyahu does not want a ceasefire and insists on not stopping the war on Gaza, regardless of the proposed deals,” Nasrallah stated.

He explained that the Netanyahu’s real project and his allies is to make Jordan an alternative homeland for the Palestinians.

He pointed out that the goal of this battle is to prevent “Israel” from achieving any triumph or eliminating the Palestinian cause.

Nasrallah called on the resistance in Gaza and the West Bank to be more patient and steadfastness.

He also called on the supportive fronts to continue operations as in the past months.
