OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Aug. 06 (YPA) – The Zionist enemy army announced, on Tuesday evening, that five of its military ranks, including officers, were seriously injured during the ongoing ground invasion of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip.
The enemy army spokesman said, in a brief statement, that five officers and soldiers were injured, including two, seriously, as a result of the battles in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
He explained that a military doctor with the rank of officer and a paramedic in the reserve were seriously injured earlier during battles with the Palestinian resistance in the southern Gaza Strip.
For its part, the Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the wounded enemy soldiers were from the Givati Brigade, and their wounds were serious, while the enemy army radio noted that the casualties caused by an anti-tank missile.
In a related context, enemy army data reported that 16 soldiers were injured, including 14 in the Gaza Strip, during the past 24 hours, which raises the announced total to 4,000 and 272 soldiers, since the start of the war on Gaza.
