WORLD, Aug. 01 (YPA) – Demonstrations were organized on Thursday in Istanbul, Tunisia, and Rabat, denouncing the Israeli occupation’s assassination of the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran.

In Istanbul, a large crowd gathered in front of Al-Fatih Mosque, waving Turkish and Palestinian flags and chanting slogans against the Zionist entity.

The demonstrators, who walked for approximately two kilometers, chanted slogans denouncing “the murderous Israel” and supporting Palestine.

According to an Agence France-Presse photographer, the demonstrators burned the Israeli flag. They raised banners, one reading in English and the other in Turkish, “Israel, the United States, and NATO will be defeated!”

In Rabat, more than a thousand people demonstrated on Wednesday evening, in solidarity with the Palestinian people and denouncing the killing of Haniyeh.

In front of Parliament in the center of the Moroccan capital, about a thousand people waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans praising “the martyr Ismail Haniyeh” and denouncing his assassination.

In Tunisia, between 400 and 500 people demonstrated, raising Palestinian and Lebanese Hezbollah flags and pictures of Haniyeh.

In the center of the Tunisian capital, a banner was raised reading, “The people want to criminalize normalization,” in reference to the relations between Israel and several Arab countries, such as Morocco.
