Hezbollah threatens Israeli occupation to await inevitable response

BEIRUT, Aug. 01 (YPA) – Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, threatened on Wednesday the Israeli occupation to await the inevitable response.

Nasrallah said in a televised speech on Thursday during the funeral of senior Hezbollah leader Fouad Shukr.

He stressed that the party will respond and the Israeli enemy must wait the days, nights, and the field.

“We are facing a major battle, in which matters have gone beyond the issue of supportive fronts,” he stated. “We are in an open battle on all fronts and have entered a new phase.”

Nasrallah stressed that the battle’s escalation would depend on the occupation’s reactions.
In this context, Sayyed Nasrallah explained “Iran considers the assassination of Haniyeh an attack on its national security and sovereignty.”

“The enemy is committing the greatest deception and falsification by accusing our martyr of being the killer of the children of “Majdal Shams”, and was quick to make the accusation in the “Majdal Shams” incident without providing any evidence,” he revealed. “Hezbollah denied its responsibility for what happened in “Majdal Shams.”

He noted that accusing Hezbollah of what happened in “Majdal Shams” was unjust and unacceptable and aims to exonerate the enemy’s “army” from what happened, stressing that the aim of accusing the resistance was sectarian strife.

Nasrallah affirmed that the aggression on the southern suburb was not a response to the enemy’s claim of what happened in Majdal Shams, but rather it was part of the war and a response to the Lebanese support front in support of Gaza and the Palestinian cause.

During his speech, he offered his condolences to the Palestinian resistance in Hamas and the Qassam Brigades on the martyrdom of the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, adding that the party is partner with Hamas in resistance and martyrdom until achieving the inevitable victory.
