Civil Defense reveals details explosion of Hodeida oil tank

HODIEDA, July 27 (YPA) – Yemen’s Civil Defense Authority revealed on Saturday the details of the explosion in one of the oil facility tanks of Hodeida provice.

The authority explained, in an urgent statement, that the explosion of the tank in Hodeida was the result of a fire caused by the Israeli aggression a few days ago, as the fire was still 10%, which great caused air pressure in the tank, leading to its explosion without any casualties.

The statement confirmed that she was able to control the fire in the tank through the civil defense teams and supporting agencies, and that work is ongoing around the clock to avoid a recurrence of what happened.

On Friday, the authority announced it was able to control a large fire that broke out in the oil facilities’ tanks and fuel tanks of the power stations in the province after the Zionist enemy’s attacks.
